Why do I have severe headaches on the right side?
I've been having really bad headaches lately and I don't know why. I've looked up stuff on the computer and I think I may have meningitis. That's a severe problem but it could be something else. I'm really scared and don't wanna talk to my parents about it. My symptoms are confusion, difficulty concentrating, headaches, fatigue, muscle soreness, and more. Please help

Can working out 2 or 3 times a day cause severe headaches and nausea?
I started working out a few days ago and have had really bad headaches and nausea ever since then. I started off with once a day, yesterday I worked out 3 times, and today I worked out twice and now I feel even worse then yesterday. I get headaches and nausea everyday ever since last year but it has increased...
I'm drinking a lot of water and having severe headaches...?
I'm drinking a lot of water. I used to eat all the time and so now I'm replacing that with water. I drink about a gallon a day. I know that is a lot but I would say it's better than eating a bunch of high calorie snacks or a gallon of soda which is pretty much what I would be doing if I didn't drink water. Pretty much if I don't keep a straw and sucking up water all day I'll eat way too much and eat more food than I need to. I know it's important to keep up with electrolytes but I don't want to eat or drink those calories from gatorade. I am eating regular meals so I'm not starving myself. I'm just wondering how I can continue drinking as much water as I am but not get headaches, ibuprofen doesn't help. Maybe there is something just as good as I can do. I just really don't want to continue drinking my calories because I love food... Any ideas
I have severe headaches for more than 1 year, can anyone help, they are worsening?
I am diabetic controlled and the pain is so severe and its worse at night. With my own diagnosis I discovered for some time drinking water helped but now I am in so much pain at night when I am relaxing and sleeping. I also have many bad dreams every night. The pain is in my jaw, my ears and back of the head. I am on several medications for a heart attack, I am in early 50s a non smoker and do not drink alchohol. I eat sensibly. What can be causing them.? They have been going on for 1 year and my heart attack was 8 weeks ago. However the pain is worse
Cause of severe headaches that come and go at random.?
I get extremely painful headaches several times a week and they are affecting my life quite significantly. They used to be less severe and not as frequent but recently I haven't been able to go much more than 24 hours without one. The symptoms range from a violent throbbing behind my eyes and temples, dizziness, suffering pain with noise even soft noises , pain to light on rare occasion, occasional nausea, excruciating pain in the neck and shoulder blades, reduced co ordination in hands and fingers. I don't know if its directly related but when I have these headaches I become extremely aggressive and agitated. Once or twice these headaches have resulted in me blacking passing out for over 15 hours once. Background info I am a male 19 years old, non smoker, non drinker, a little overweight but not extreme, decent diet I eat out a good bit because I'm always on the move but I always try to get low sodium calorie items that just tie me over till I can get home and eat properly , exercise usually two to three times a week, I do drink caffeine a lot but found that going in either direction both cutting it out for over 3 months and increasing it did not help or hurt the situation. I used to not be worried about these headaches because they were mild to moderate and I could ignore them and carry on my day with a Tylenol or two. The headaches are now so severe that even Excedrin Migraine or Maximum Strength Advil, Tylenol and all other OTC medicines are not even touching it. Like I said I cut out caffeine completely for over 3 months and the headaches continued to occur. I do lack sleep sometimes getting less than 5 hours of sleep between working and classes but even during break times and summer months when I get 8 hours of sleep they are still prevalent. Please help me... I'm tired of having to miss classes, call in sick for work, and miss time with my friends because my head feels like its going to explode.
Moderate to severe headaches with sensitivity to light, sound, sudden movements & coughing.?
I've always had a problem with headaches. They kind of run in my family. My dad suffers from cluster headaches and his dad suffers from frequent and very severe migraines. Recently, mine have changed from a mild irritation that I can take a few ibuprofen and be done with, to a severe pain that I can't get rid of. Usually, I wake up with it. It's almost always on the right side of my head. There's a dull ache in the back of my head and it gets more severe as it goes to the front. My eye is especially sore and it's the worst at the very front right side of my forehead. Light doesn't bother me as much as sound, but my vision in my right eye is blurry and I feel off balance. If I move suddenly, I get a sharp pain, and if I cough, it hurts so bad I feel like I could cry. Ibuprofen doesn't help. The one thing I've found that dulls the pain a little is to hold a cold compress on my head, neck and right shoulder. If it's relevant, I'm on two medications.. birth control and Celexa. I have a condition called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I don't know if the headaches could be related or not.Any advice you can give is greatly appreciated
What is wrong with my head?! severe headaches!?
I'm an otherwise healthy 20 year old female college student. I've had " migraines" for 3 years now, never had a CT or MRI ordered. Just doctor checkups. After experiencing panic attacks and severe anxiety my doc prescribed Zoloft in 2010 to treat anxiety which I found did nothing for me so, after a year of that, I've stopped it. I was most recently prescribed Imitrex to take at the onset of a migraine but I found that it made them excruciatingly worse to the point where I had no choice but to pass out for hours. I'm not sure how else to explain so i just made a list of my symptoms. Some of which may be unrelated but I'll jot them down just in case. eye muscle spasms feels as though the muscles behind my eyes are twitching and causing my actual eyeballs to seize beyond my control...aka darting across the room and twitching straining...literally making my skin crawl because i cant stop it cooling or draining sensation behind eyes associated with these spasms blurred vision this is new, to my knowledge i have 20 20 eyesight dizziness brief blacked out vision upon standing or bending over headaches both general and, most recently, pinpointed to the left temple area daily constant neck pain discomfort occasional numbness in toes weak feeling in left hand arm when writing just noticed this today, wasn't too bad, thought it was interesting overwhelming feeling while driving in crowds can't focus panic attacks haven't had a bad one though for about 6 months occasional racing irregular heartbeat anxiety obviously pain in head, neck, and eyes when looking down bending at neck difficulty falling asleep never tired at night horrible graphic nightmaresas a side note, no allergies that I'm aware of, BP is normal, I had my appendix removed in 2009, in 2007 or 2008 ? i was experiencing extreme fatigue and headaches along with just being generally sick with a cold all the time with a golf ball sized lump on the left side of my neck. tested for TB, cat scratch, mono...all negative. lump has since gone away. also, for as long as i could remember i've had trouble taking or catching a deep breath hard to explain but when i go to take a deep breath..it simply doesn't " work" it feels tight in my chest and i have to sit up in bed at night sometimes to try to breath. this was much much worse last year when i was going thru the extreme panic and anxiety. i went to have an asthma test which came back negative, but the tech informed me that i may have a flattened vocal chord which affects the breathing process. the ENT i saw later determined that my vocal chords were fine, however. frustrating so i gave up on the breathing issue...my anxiety has subsided a bit so my breathing problems have as well my main concern is the cause of these headaches. i'm fed up with general practitioners sending me home with pills to " fix" the " non problem" and i hate to be medicated for no reason. obviously i'm worried about a possible tumor or something crazy because of some of my symptoms. it has become increasingly frustrating to be told it is just " hormones" or " poor eating habits" because i know that something isn't right. i'm no longer a pre pubescent teenager. and i do eat, a lot. it's mind boggling to me that no doctor has requested a scan of some sort to try and pinpoint the problem. the closest thing to a neuro consult i have received has been a simple " let me shine a light in your eye for less than a second and send you on your way with another prescription for some sort of headache i'm not sure you actually have" kind of consult...by a general practitioner. I've recently moved to LA and debating going on the hunt for a new doctor, possibly just jumping straight to a neuro specialist. any doctors in the house? your advice insight is greatly appreciated. am i crazy or could something be wrong? thank you
