I get neck headaches from carrying things what exercise will help stop this?
I have arthritis in no.5 disc. I can not carry anything without it turning into a migraine unless i put heat on right away. I have no insurance but this is the same for 2 years, so I wish I knew some holistic options other than heat, like neck muscle strengthening.
Swollen glands in my neck, headaches, tiredness, heaviness in chest, and night sweats?
for a long time now. ive been to the dr, i was diagnosed with mono but that was a very long time ago. these symptoms are not going away. i just got blood tests yesterday. what could be wrong with me?
Swollen glands, painful neck, headaches, muscle ache...?
I really need some help in trying to figure out what I've got I have been ill with cold cough symptoms for about a month, but recently it's all gotten worse. I had a test for glandular fever which came back negative.In the past couple of days, my neck has become really, really painful I'm guessing that's the glands. Hurts a lot to touch it and hurts when I move my head. I have a dull headache in the back of my head and a really sharp throbbing headache at the front. When I cough it really makes it worse...my throat hurts and I find it hard to swallow and chew, which has made me lose my appetite a little. My muscles ache, especially my legs and my back.I am also tired all the time and my skin is very sensitive, I tend to get a tingling pain sensation when anything touches it although this isn't all the time.Does anyone have any ideas as to what I could have?
Sore neck + headaches?
I just got over a strange sickness yesterday. 3 days of really bad chills, diarrhea and STIFF neck and headache. My neck pain and headaches are still very bad and was wondering if this is something i should just wait out, see a doctor or a chiropractor. I have strained my neck before and this feels very different. I can look at the sky with little pain. Looking left and right are bad but trying to look down is the worst. It is difficult to drive because I cannot look over my shoulder or look left or right rapidly. I also just returned from Cuba a couple days before this started and someone actually told me it sounds like an infection probably caused by something when I was in Cuba. This kind of concerned me s Is there any possibility of that? I know the easiest answer is " go see a doc" but the wait to see one right now is an estimated 6 8 hours where i am. Thanks for readingAlso my headaches are focused on the back of my head and usually start when i stand up after sitting for an hour or so.Well I got through the line quick because of the signs of meningitis and it turns out my neck muscle called the trapezius seems to possibly be infected.Thanks for the answers.
Pressure in neck & headaches?
For many months now, I've been experiencing headaches that, while not especially frequent, come more often than I would think to be normal. I also experience pressure & tightness in my neck. I'm 99 % sure that this is all caused by neck cracking. I'm a chronic neck cracker I do it several times daily, until I can't anymore. I've done this for about a year. I've decided to stop cracking my neck. Is this what is causing my pain & headaches? If so, what can I do about it?
Would a feather pillow help with weekend neck/headache?
I think my pillow might be too high, so I am thinking of investing in a feather pillow. Most weekends I get terrible neck headaches which sometimes make me feel nauseous. I have been getting these headaches for a few years but haven't consulted my doctor since I don't get them every day. I think I get it on the weekend because I am sleeping too long and laying down watching TV. When I get those headaches, no matter where my head is when I lay down, it hurts so bad. There is no position that makes the headache pain go away.I'm a non smoker, fairly active exercising 3 days a week on average, eat healthy, 120 lbs.Holy smokes David, that stretch is awesome When the headache is really bad I take extra strength Muscle and Back pain pills and ibprofin. Sometimes those take the pain right away, and sometimes I can take a bunch in one day and still have the worst headache ever.
Chronic upper back, neck, headaches are starting to make me suicidal, help me please!?
about two years ago I started having very strong headaches and then some pinching on my neck that caused my neck to feel tired and annoyed.eventually a physical therapist claimed i had a pinched nerve on my neck and recommended some physical therapy using a neck traction and some stimulation that worked for about two months, but then i moved and changed mattress and the pain came back in the form of back pain and more headaches.then i went home to see my mom and on her mattress the pain went away and i went back home and the pain begun.... now i am back in my mom's house and not even the mattress helps me anymorei went to a chiropractor who made an xray of my neck and said i have a military neck, very straight and of course did some manipulation so i went home with a massive headache, now nothing works..... yesterday i went to have a massage and it made the pain go away, but i went to sleep and woke up in even more pain and my nerves now on both sides of my head tingling and sensitivei am to the point where i am starting to lose my patience and faith, its been two years and nothing really does iti am tiredi dont drink, i dont smoke, i am not fat, i am 33 and i used to exercise.... and this is driving me to the edge to the point where i am starting to think death is a solution to this HORRIBLE PAINi am sorry but i am desperate and i dont know what to dono concrete answersmy family says i am infatuated, but how not ot be infatuated with pain when u have it almost 24 7?my life wasnt supposed to be like thisi am tired of itsorry but any one knows something that doesnt involve seeing expesive professionals that i can do?i bought pillows, memory foams, mattress and NOTHING WORKS please help me
Tight muscles in neck...headaches??Your opinion PLEASE?
I have been suffering from headaches for 4 years now.NO doctor knows why.I have been told i have tight muscles thats all.Is there something maybe you know of that i could tell one of my doctors?Iam so tired of this I want to wake up with no pain I long for that.Any meds or doctors or conditions you can think of would be SO GREAT My neck muscles are so bad PAINFUL II take glucosamine chondroitin msm now i also take b vitamins and magnesium I try different meds from time to time that are given to me,i dont want to be hooked though.Thats so much for your imput yes been to a chiropractorto dusty....Email me if you see this...I have tried topomax....didnt work.I want to know more about fibro.....
Twisted neck, headaches ever since?
My neck got jerked in a scrum in rugby around a year ago. Didnt think much of it at first but then i just got this sudden migrane, most intense feeling ive ever had and it got worse when i bent down.Ever since ive had a dull constant headache, nothing will make it go away, i know i shoudl see a doctor but i just wanted to see if any1 knows what this is??
