What can help my chronic headaches?
from the moment I wake up until I go to bed I have a horrible headache. The dr said they are a variety of cluster headaches to stress related migrains and basically there is nothing I can do

My partner gets chronic headaches whilst at the point of orgasm?
My partner and I have been together almost 6 years, and the last two times we've been " orally intimate" , at the point of orgasm he gets chronic head pain " like his head is going to explode" , and it lasts for 10 15 mins afterwards, and he's in agonising pain. This has never happened before, and hasn't occured with sex or masturbation. Any ideas what this could be? Please only serious answers..

How can I get my doctor to give me the medicine I need for my chronic headache?
I have been having chronic headaches for almost 6yrs now. I have been to countless doctors. I have had MRI , CAT scans, and countless blood tests. I have tried going to the chiropractor, acupuncture, neurologists, and eye doctors. I have been on ALOT of prevention , and depression anxiety med. and of course all the over the counter , and none of them helped. I have had some dental work done and they gave me a prescription for Vicodin . It really helped my headaches when I had the pills. It was amazing to not dread waking up because I knew I would be in pain . The Vicodin was and is the only thing that has helped. I know that doctors don't want to give me narcotics for fear I would become addicted. I feel that I'm at a breaking point. I have been in pain almost everyday for 6yrs now. I have become depressed and irritable. I am always stressed and worried about what I will do when the next headache comes. I'm always tired and I do not sleep well. The pain is overwhelming, and I do not know what to do. I want to ask the doctor for Vicodin but I'm afraid that one they wont give it to me and two they will think I just want to get " high" . Honestly I have trouble thinking that people who don't have ANY pain at all can go to the doctor and say " my back hurts SO bad" or whatever they say and they get painkillers And when people like me who really do have pain cant get anything. Basically my question is how do I get my doctor to give me the painkillers I need without them saying no or thinking I'm a druggie?

Medical marijuana for chronic headaches?
So i have been dealing with these ridiculous headaches the past few months, they range from a minor annoyance to not being able to concentrate on anything because my head hurts to much.Several weeks ago i was telling a friend of mine about my predicament, he suggested i try marijuana, so i did and it worked FANTASTICALLY, it absolutely abolished my headaches. My only problem now is that i would very much like to become a legal smoker. I haven't had any appointments concerning my headaches, so how should i go about talking to my doctor about this?As a side note i would also like to say that migraines run in my family, and even prescription strength medication I have taken my mothers migraine prescriptions does not seem to help very much or at all with the recommended dosages.

How to treat chronic headaches?
I think I figured out the cause of them finally , I think it's hormones or something. My headache usually tends to get worse when I get my period. But it's still there the rest of the time though... But could hormones be the cause? If so, what would be done to treat the headaches?Sorry if hormones obviously aren't the answer, I'm desparate. We've tried everything else. And I just realized this about my headache s .

How do you stop chronic headaches on the top of your head?
I honestly don't drink a lot of water. This could be the problem... I'll try to drink water straight for a week to see any changes. I have also seen a doctor and they have done blood work on me to see if I have any disease causing these and I have not gotten the results yet. I am going to have a CT Scan done soon as well.

I get chronic headaches, but I don't know why...?
I've been getting bad headaches regularly for over a year now. The description of migraines and tension headaches don't really fit. The pain is mostly in my sinuses, and also my ears and neck. I have this hot burning feeling, like I have a high fever, even though I don't. What could it be?

Can food allergies cause chronic headaches?
Specifically a corn allergy? Could it cause chronic headaches year round?

Do you automatically think the worst when you have chronic headaches?

Severe chronic headaches from neck injury?
For nearly 2 years I have been dealing with frequent headaches on basis of nearly every other or every third day. I first noticed them when I initially began lifting weights nearly 2 years ago as they would and still do pop up suddenly when I lift a significant amount of weight. I have been suffering from this ever since and, now doing Crossfit regularly, often have to scale certain workouts or take long breaks sometimes for weeks before returning to the gym due to these headaches. When I get a headache, it usually lasts for at least 30 minutes, to sometimes in excess of 2 hours. Sometimes I will wake up with a headache every day for as long as two weeks.I know for a fact that they stem from my neck as, when I feel a headache, I feel my neck muscles strained for whatever reason, and the pain stems into the head. Another reason why I know this is because nearly every morning, and often at night, when lying down in my bed for a significant amount of time, if my pillow isnt perfectly positioned for the ideal neck support angle, I get a headache.I have, of course, sought professional diagnosis and treatment for my condition, but have so far been unsuccessful in making any progress. I went to the doctor on a few occasions. I have taken a CAT scan and X rays which came back negative, and now I have been to 2 different physiotherapy offices. The first merely instructed me to do extremely simple neck stretches which I could have found in five minutes on the internet so it was useless. The next physiotherapist I tried I just finished my final session with because I have to go to university. He was the first person that gave me a diagnosis, although I am only now starting to doubt this diagnosis since he asked me to book an osteopathy session with him for craniosacral therapy.A quick google search brings up results that this style of therapy is quackery. The other things that he has been doing with me are spinal manipulation as well as stretches and hooking me up to the electrolysis machine. Since beginning my sessions with him nearly a month ago, I have made 0 progress, but remained optimistic. The optimism is now waning however, and I am worried that this problem will be a part of my life for a long time, forcing me to suffer through many more years of headaches and physical inactivity due to the fact that when I get these headaches, any strain on the neck only aggravates and perpetuates the problem. As a young and otherwise extremely healthy 18 year old, this isnt normal, especially since I have no idea how this condition came about. Is there anyone that may be able to shed some light on my condition based on what Ive told you? It would be greatly appreciated since my options are running slim at this point as I am moving away. Sorry for the wall of text I appreciate any time and help you guys give me

Chronic headaches for the last 8 weeks now for my 6 yrs old?
My 6 year old daughter has been suffering from chronic headaches for the last 8 weeks now. The headache are is between her eyebrows above her nose . We have her eyes and dental checked and everything is normal. The 1st Pediatric suspecting allergy suggested Zyrtec. We gave it for a week but there was no improvement. We went back to the Pediatric and this time suspecting Sinus gave Amoxicillin Antibiotic for 10 days. Nasal Flush using Neil Med also started along with Nasonex. Those did not help either. Next, we went to a different Pediatric and he ordered an MRI immediately. The MRI showed Sinus and everything else was normal. This Pediatric prescribed another antibiotic Omnicef that we continued for 2 course 20 days . This did not help at all. We had stopped the Nasal flush after the 1st 2 weeks, but have restarted it for the past week now. However, the headache of our daughter does not stop. She is able to sleep well and has woken up only twice in the last 2 months complaining about headache. That was during the 4th week, prior to doing the MRI. What should be the next step. Please suggest as we are stuck and don't know what to do next. The Pediatric has no suggestions. Her BP is normal. That's was the nurse said each time we had been to the pediatric. She does not see floating dots in her vision when she closes her eyes. Light does not effect her headache and she does not get dizzy when she stand up.

Chronic headaches after chemical mold removal?
I recently discovered a mold problem in the utility closet of my apartment. I contacted management, and they sent a crew out to remove the mold. Ever since they cleaned it up, I've had chronic headaches every time I'm home. I assume it's from the chemicals they used. I tried leaving a couple windows cracked for a day but there's still a slight chemical smell. Is there anything I can do to alleviate the headaches aside from leaving my home ?
